My Decision to Run
The families of Wheaton, Winfield, Warrenville, West Chicago, and Carol Stream who send their children to the District 200 schools are blessed to live in a great district, with top-quality teachers and schools.
My twin daughters have been in the District 200 schools for ten years, and my wife and I have been active participants in each of their schools. I have donated my time by attending almost every school board meeting, volunteering on board committees and belonging to various PTAs and the Booster Club. From these experiences, I have also come to realize some of the limitations and challenges our district faces. It is time for me to give back with the knowledge I have accumulated over the years and I’m asking for your vote on Tuesday, April 2.
I am running because it’s time to “sharpen the pencil,” as my campaign logo implies. Let’s sharpen the pencil and find more fiscally responsible, short- and long-term solutions to our problems. Let’s sharpen the pencil and elect responsible leaders that advocate for better transparency, and even better outcomes for our students.
